This role requires strong technical skills, increased independence, and a high level of safety and quality awareness. \n \nEssential Duties and Responsibilities \n\n Read, interpret, and work from electrical drawings, layouts, and specifications \n \n Install, support, and route complex conduit systems \n \n Pull, identify, dress, and terminate conductors and control wiring \n \n Assist with installation and termination of panels, MCCs, transformers, and equipment \n \n Perform basic testing and troubleshooting under supervision \n \n Identify material, layout, or drawing conflicts and communicate them to supervision \n \n Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently \n \n Participate in job hazard analyses (JHAs), permits, and lockout/tagout procedures \n \n Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas \n \n Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and training \n \n Identify and report hazards, near misses, and unsafe conditions \n \n Support journeymen, lead electricians, and foremen with task planning and execution \n \n Perform other duties as assigned within scope of training \n \nQualifications \n\n High school diploma or GED required \n \n Advanced standing in an approved electrical apprenticeship program \n \n Strong understanding of electrical systems and NEC applications \n \n Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while knowing when to seek guidance \n \n Demonstrated reliability, quality workmanship, and leadership potential \n \nRequired Certifications and Training \n\n OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety (preferred or required per company policy) \n \n Jobsite-specific safety orientation \n \n First Aid / CPR (preferred) \n \n Apprentice classroom training (Year 3\u20134 or equivalent) \n \n Equipment- or site-specific training as required \n \nTools & Equipment \n\n Must provide and maintain their own basic hand tools customary to the electrical trade \n \n All hand tools must be in safe working condition and comply with company and jobsite safety requirements \n \nExperience \n\n 3 to 4+ years of electrical or construction-related experience \n \n Successful completion of prior apprentice-level training and evaluations \n \nPhysical Requirements \n\n Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly \n \n Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work overhead for extended periods \n \n Ability to work from ladders, scaffolds, and elevated work platforms \n \n Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, or confined environments \n \n Ability to wear required PPE, including hard hat, gloves, safety glasses, FR clothing, and fall protection \n \nWork Environment \n\n Industrial and commercial construction jobsites \n \n Indoor and outdoor work \n \n Exposure to energized systems (under supervision), moving machinery, and varying weather conditions \n \n Work hours may include nights, weekends, and overtime as required \n \nSupervision \n\n Works under limited supervision of a licensed Journeyman Electrician, Lead Electrician, or Foreman \n \nSafety Expectations \n\n Comply with all company and site safety policies and procedures \n \n Actively lead by example in safety meetings and JHAs \n \n Exercise stop-work authority when unsafe conditions exist \n \n Demonstrate accountability for safe work practices and hazard awareness \n \nCareer Progression \n \nSuccessful performance in this role prepares the employee for transition to Journeyman Electrician status based on completion of apprenticeship requirements, demonstrated competency, safety performance, and company needs. \n \nBenefits:\n\n IRA matching up to 3%\n Health insurance\n Paid time off\n* Paid Holidays\n\n
