Advance is seeking a motivated and dependable Apprentice Electrician for one of our clients in Midland, TX. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade while working under the supervision of licensed electricians on commercial, industrial, and/or oilfield-related projects.
Key Responsibilities
Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
Run conduit (EMT, PVC, rigid), pull wire, and set electrical devices
Install lighting, outlets, switches, and electrical panels under supervision
Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and job specifications
Use hand and power tools safely and properly
Follow OSHA safety standards and company safety policies
Maintain a clean and safe job site
Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Qualifications
Must have a Valid TDLR APPRENTICE ELECTRICAL LICENSE
Previous experience as an electrical helper or apprentice preferred
Trade school enrollment or completion is a plus
Basic understanding of electrical tools and materials
