Job Description

Apprentice Plumber

Apprentice plumber takes direction from Master and Journeyman plumber to perform plumbing

tasks as detailed below.

Apprentice Plumber Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assembling and installing PVC and CPVC
  • Disassembling and removing damaged or worn pipe

Education, Licensing and certification

  • Must have a valid DL & transportation
  • Must have or be able to obtain OSHA 10 hour or 30 hour certification
  • Learning to comprehend schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications
  • Plumbing license - Apprentice with a supervising master
  • MUST have minimum 2yrs verifiable work history
  • Must have 2 years of commercial construction experience

Skills & Qualities

  • Copper
  • PVC
  • Occupational hazards and safety requirements of the trade
  • Tools and practices used in the trade
  • Ability to lift and carry 70 lbs
