Apprentice Plumber – Years 1 through 4 (NH)
Location
Various commercial and multi-residential worksites across New Hampshire.
Job Summary
We are seeking motivated Apprentice Plumbers (Years 1–4) to join our team and gain hands-on experience in commercial and multi-residential plumbing systems. Apprentices will work under the supervision of licensed journeyman and master plumbers, participating in installations, repairs, and maintenance while completing required training and education.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in installing and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and multi-residential buildings.
Support licensed plumbers in assembling, fitting, and repairing pipes, fixtures, and equipment.
Learn to interpret blueprints and schematics for plumbing layouts.
Participate in troubleshooting and diagnosing plumbing issues.
Maintain tools, equipment, and worksite cleanliness.
Follow safety protocols and NH plumbing codes.
Attend classroom training and complete required coursework.
Document work performed and materials used.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Training
High school diploma or equivalent.
Enrollment in a NH-approved plumbing apprenticeship program.
Commitment to completing 8,000 hours of on-the-job training and 600 hours of classroom instruction.
Skills & Attributes
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools.
Certifications
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
OSHA 10 certification will need to be obtained if not already done.
