We are seeking a Apprentice Technician to join our team! This individual will be responsible for performing a variety of mechanical services on vehicles, diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the automotive industry and a passion for delivering top-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership – familiarizing yourself with the service department & procedures

  • Assist service advisor in test driving vehicles, and testing components and systems – you will learn how to use diagnostic tools and special service equipment

  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.

  • Communicate directly with the service advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed

  • Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs

  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

 

Requirements:

 

  • Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.

  • Ford technician training
  • Strong teamwork skills

  • Interest in and passion for the automotive industry

  • Eagerness to work hard with a positive attitude
