CFS has partnered with a locally owned business in Bourbon, Indiana, to identify an Accounts Receivable / Bookkeeping Specialist to support day-to-day financial operations. This role is critical due to an upcoming retirement and offers hands-on involvement across accounts receivable, bookkeeping, and financial record maintenance for both business and personal accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Manage Accounts Receivable, including billing, invoicing, and payment tracking
Perform basic bookkeeping for multiple entities
Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks
Complete bank reconciliations and cash handling
Assist with collections and follow-up on outstanding balances
Enter and maintain financial data accurately
Support cleanup and organization of existing financial records
Utilize Excel for tracking, reporting, and reconciliations

Qualifications

Prior experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Bookkeeping
Hands-on QuickBooks experience (required)
Working knowledge of Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Comfortable with cleanup and process improvement work
