Accounts Receivable Manager
Location: Middletown, OH (Onsite)
Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 + Benefits

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to lead the AR function for a growing organization in the Middletown area. This onsite leadership role is responsible for overseeing billing, collections, cash application, credit management, and AR process improvement initiatives while managing and developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Lead daily accounts receivable operations, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collections.
• 
  
• Manage cash application, account reconciliations, and month-end AR close activities.
• 
  
• Monitor aging reports and drive collection strategies to improve cash flow and reduce DSO.
• 
  
• Oversee customer credit evaluations and credit limit management.
• 
  
• Develop, mentor, and evaluate AR team members.
• 
  
• Partner with Finance, Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to resolve customer account issues.
• 
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
• 
  
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and reporting enhancements.
• 
  
• Prepare AR metrics, forecasts, and management reports.
• 
  

Qualifications

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 
  
• 5+ years of progressive accounts receivable experience.
• 
  
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience required.
• 
  
• Strong knowledge of billing, collections, credit, and cash application processes.
• 
  
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• 
  
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• 
  
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
•

• Manufacturing, distribution, or industrial industry experience.
