Position: Arborist/Sales Representative – Full Time

Department: Homer Tree Care, Inc.

Job Summary: The Sales Representative/Arborist is responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships. This includes but is not limited to visiting client’s properties, assessing clients tree/plant needs, and preparing proposals for current and potential clients. The Sales Representative/Arborist must have a working knowledge of tree care related equipment necessary to complete the assigned tasks

Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform all sales within a defined sales territory
Meet and strive to exceed sales expectations
Prepares proposals for potential clients
Aids in development and implementation of PHC programs
Aids in development and implementation of safety programs
Identifies and treats pest infested and diseased trees
Applies pesticides and specialized tree fertilizers
Maintains constant communication with clients to ensure client satisfaction
Inspects and maintains all equipment

Qualifications:

ISA Arborist Certification
3-5 years of related experience in the tree care industry or prior sales experience
Clean driving record with no moving violations
Knowledge of trees, insects, & diseases
Familiar with proper pruning standards
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Strong organizational skills
Good time management skills
Strong knowledge of industry safety standards.
Degree in Agriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Environmental Science, or Plant Science preferred but not required.

Benefits:

Starting salary is $60-80k
Pay is determined by experience, skill, education, and other factors
Able to enroll in benefits after 60-day new hire probation period
