As a Designer you'll work directly with design and technical leaders to advance CJ+Cs diverse portfolio, encompassing high-rise mixed-use residential, hospitality, civic, and public projects.     Your Role

    As a Designer at CJ+C, you'll support teams in delivering innovative design projects, applying your foundational skills and creative energy to contribute to projects from concept to completion. With 0-5 years of experience, you're an emerging talent eager to learn and grow in design-driven projects, focusing on user-centered experiences. Your enthusiasm for collaboration, eagerness to learn, and commitment to design excellence make CJ+C the ideal place to launch your career in a vibrant, rewarding, and passionately curious environment.

    What You Will Do

    • Collaborate with the project designer and project teams on conceptual designs, presentations, design development, and project execution.
    • Address complex design challenges with creative and practical solutions.
    • Engage in all project phases, including conceptual design, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and production.
    • Work with design teams, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.
    • Assist in the management of client expectations, team communication, and coordination with consultants.
    • Participate in office initiatives, activities, and professional development programs.
    • Create graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings.
    • Apply hand-rendering techniques to effectively convey design concepts.

    Your Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in architecture from an accredited institution
    • Actively working towards licensure is a plus
    • 1-5 years of relevant project experience
    • Skilled in 3D modeling software, Revit + SketchUp, Enscape, and/or other modeling software such as Rhino.
    • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and/or SketchUp
    • Familiarity with applicable building codes and accessibility standards
    • Knowledge of sustainable design principles and certifications.
    • Eagerness to build collaborative relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders
