Position Overview
This is a fast-paced leadership opportunity for an Architectural Project Manager who thrives in high-volume retail rollout environments. As an Architectural Project Manager, you will manage multiple branded retail and QSR projects across various stages of design, documentation, permitting, and execution while helping deliver consistent, high-quality environments for nationally recognized clients.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, pace, and accountability. You will support national rollout programs, primarily tied to major restaurant and retail brands, while coordinating with internal design teams, consultants, clients, vendors, contractors, and jurisdictional reviewers. For an architectural professional who wants exposure to global brand work, multi-site project delivery, and long-term leadership growth, this is a strong platform.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage 15-30 concurrent retail rollout projects across design, documentation, permitting, and execution phases
- Lead project coordination for branded retail, QSR, hospitality, and food and beverage environments
- Coordinate with internal design teams, consultants, clients, vendors, contractors, and external stakeholders
- Ensure projects align with brand standards, client expectations, schedules, budgets, and quality requirements
- Oversee construction document production, with Revit preferred
- Interface with national retail and restaurant clients regarding project updates, deliverables, schedules, and project needs
- Manage permitting and jurisdictional coordination across multiple locations
- Track project schedules, deliverables, approvals, and potential risks across a high-volume project portfolio
- Proactively identify bottlenecks and drive practical solutions to keep projects moving
- Support vendor and contractor coordination during execution and construction phases
- Maintain clear project communication and documentation across internal and external teams
- Balance speed, accuracy, brand consistency, and client service in a fast-track rollout environment
Required Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Architecture or related design discipline preferred
- Experience: 8-16 years of architectural experience, preferably within retail, QSR, restaurant, hospitality, or commercial project environments
- Project Experience: Strong background managing high-volume rollout programs, multi-site projects, or fast-track commercial work
- Client Experience: Experience working with national brands, multi-site clients, or brand-driven project standards
- Software: Strong proficiency in Revit and construction documentation
- Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of architectural documentation, permitting, jurisdictional coordination, and project delivery
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, schedules, deadlines, approvals, and stakeholders
- Communication: Strong written, verbal, organizational, and client-facing communication skills
- Work Style: Highly organized, proactive, positive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Retail Rollout Experience: Experience managing QSR, restaurant, retail rollout, or branded environment programs
- Brand Experience: Experience supporting nationally recognized restaurant, retail, hospitality, or food and beverage brands
- Permitting: Experience coordinating permits across multiple jurisdictions
- Construction Administration: Experience supporting RFIs, submittals, contractor coordination, and execution-phase project needs
- Leadership: Experience coordinating internal teams, consultants, vendors, and external partners across multiple active projects
- Growth Mindset: Interest in advancing into senior project leadership within a growing U.S. team
