    Job Title: Robotics/Engineering Camp Counselor

    Job Type: Summer

    Location: Various summer camps across the United States

    Salary: Competitive salary + room and board

    Job Description:

    We are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Robotics/Engineering Camp Counselors to join our team for the upcoming summer season. As a Robotics/Engineering Camp Counselor, you will be responsible for creating a fun and educational experience for campers ages 8-17. You will lead and assist in a variety of activities related to robotics and engineering, including workshops, projects, and field trips.

    Responsibilities:

    - Plan and lead daily activities related to robotics and engineering, such as building robots, coding, and designing projects

    - Provide instruction and guidance to campers in a safe and supportive environment

    - Collaborate with other counselors to create a well-rounded camp experience for all campers

    - Ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times

    - Maintain and organize equipment and supplies for activities

    - Assist in the planning and execution of special events and field trips

    - Communicate with parents and campers about camp activities and progress

    - Serve as a positive role model for campers, promoting teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship

    - Attend all staff meetings and training sessions

    - Adhere to and enforce camp rules and policies

    - Other duties as assigned by camp management

    Qualifications:

    - Must be at least 18 years of age

    - Previous experience working with children, preferably in a camp setting

    - Knowledge and experience in robotics and/or engineering

    - Enthusiasm for working with children and promoting their personal growth and development

    - Strong leadership and communication skills

    - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

    - CPR and First Aid certification (or be willing to obtain before start date)

    - Must be eligible to participate in the J1 Camp Counselor Program
