This is achieved through innovative techniques, teaching/mentoring individuals how to live their best life and providing daily support. LNB is currently seeking Area Supervisors.The Area Supervisor is responsible for the overall management of a set of residential group homes. The job location is at the group homes (not an office setting). Responsibilities include but are not limited to quality management, staff training and mentoring, location oversight, and any tasks that would contribute positively to services. Managing/training direct support professionals (DSP), facilitating team meetings, identifying and reporting mental health symptoms and behavior(s) of concern, working hours necessary to meet the needs of the individuals, communicate effectively with DSPs, management, family and other professionals such as doctors, psychiatrists, etc. Managers are on-call on a rotating basis. This position is a full-time salaried position. The schedule is typically Monday-Friday and includes both day and evening hours. Candidates must have at least one year experience working with individuals with an intellectual disability and/or a mental health disorder. Supervisory/ management experience required.
