Job Summary


Black Cube Security is seeking professional, dependable Armed Security Guards for weekday assignments in Fresno. You will help maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property through a visible security presence, careful observation, and professional incident response.


The ideal candidate demonstrates sound judgment, integrity, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.


Available Shifts

• Morning: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM.
  
  
• Afternoon: Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM–4:00 PM.
  
  

These are two separate shift options, each totaling 20 scheduled hours per week. Please indicate your preferred shift when applying.


What We Provide

Responsibilities

• Patrol the assigned premises and maintain a visible, professional security presence.
  
  
• Monitor entrances and exits and verify access authorization.

• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and security concerns.
  
  
• Address unauthorized access using professional communication and de-escalation, following site procedures and applicable laws.
  
  
• Respond appropriately to incidents and contact emergency services when necessary.
  
  
• Prepare accurate daily activity and incident reports.
  
  
• Follow company policies, site instructions, and applicable firearms safety requirements.
  
  
• Provide courteous assistance to employees, visitors, and authorized personnel.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Current California BSIS Security Guard Registration, commonly known as a Guard Card.
  
  
• Current BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit associated with your security guard registration, with qualifications appropriate for the firearm carried on duty.
  
  
• Strong observation, communication, and report-writing skills.
  
  
• Sound judgment, integrity, and professionalism.
  
  
• Ability to follow security procedures and work without direct supervision.
  
  
• Dependable attendance and availability for the selected weekday shift.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous armed security or related security experience.
  
  
• Familiarity with surveillance equipment and access control procedures.
