As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Security Clearance in Culpeper, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This role requires an active DoD Secret Clearance and armed guard card or license. Our agile, reliable, and innovative team puts people first, works together, and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $28.59 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and authorizations, and maintain awareness of restricted-area entry requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken according to site procedures.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
