This position supports Protective Services within SecurTec's Physical Security division, safeguarding a government facility classified as critical infrastructure in Miramar, FL.

Position Summary<\/b>
<\/p>

Armed Security Officers assigned to this post are responsible for the protection of personnel, property, and assets at a government facility classified as critical infrastructure. Officers serve as a visible deterrent, control site access, monitor for suspicious activity, and respond to incidents in accordance with post orders and established protocols.

Key Responsibilities<\/b>
<\/p>

• Maintain an armed protective presence at all assigned posts
  <\/li>
• Control and monitor facility access points, verifying credentials and screening visitors
  <\/li>
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols to identify and address security concerns
  <\/li>
• Monitor surveillance systems, alarms, and communications equipment
  <\/li>
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and emergencies
  <\/li>
• Document activity, observations, and incidents in detailed written reports
  <\/li>
• Enforce site -specific post orders, facility rules, and federal/state regulations
  <\/li>
• Coordinate with site supervision, client representatives, and emergency responders as needed
  <\/li>
• Maintain professional appearance, conduct, and communication at all times

  Requirements<\/h3>

  • Valid Florida Class D Security License
    <\/li>
  • Valid Florida Class G Statewide Firearm License
    <\/li>
  • Prior security experience required
    <\/li>
  • Law enforcement or military background preferred
    <\/li>
  • Government or federal facility experience preferred
    <\/li>
  • Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods, in varying weather conditions
    <\/li>
  • Strong observation, communication, and report -writing skills
    <\/li>
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
    <\/li>
  • Reliable transportation
    <\/li>
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

    Shift Availability<\/b>
    <\/p>

    This is a 24/7 post. All shifts are available, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays. Both full -time and part -time positions are open.
