You will manage access control, verify credentials, monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor identification, authorization, and entry documentation in accordance with financial institution policies.
• Maintain visitor logs, issue and collect access credentials, and direct guests to appropriate areas while protecting confidential information.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized entry and report unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Experience with access control and badges is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
