Armed Security Officer

We are hiring current or retired law enforcement officers for an Armed Security Officer position in Pittsburgh. Your experience and judgment will help keep employees, customers, and visitors safe.

What You Will Do:

• Maintain a visible security presence to help prevent unsafe or illegal activity.
• Help employees, customers, and visitors in a polite and professional way.
• Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle.
• Respond quickly and calmly to incidents and emergencies.
• Follow site instructions, company policies, and client procedures.
• Use good judgment and treat others with respect.

• Must be a current or retired law enforcement officer and meet applicable state requirements.
• Must have at least 10 years of law enforcement experience.
• Must possess a Pennsylvania Act 235 card or have the ability to obtain one.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have clear communication skills and a professional manner.
• Must be able to stand and remain at an assigned post for eight hours or longer, with reasonable accommodation as applicable.
• Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Must provide acceptable documents to complete Form I-9 to verify identity and work eligibility.
• Must complete M1 Global's pre-employment screening and meet all applicable state and local requirements for armed security work.
