Responsibilities include appointment confirmation, verifying insurance eligibility, collecting copays and balances, coordinating transportation, and ensuring all paperwork is completed and scanned appropriately. The position requires meticulous attention to detail and collaboration with various departments to maintain smooth clinic operations.Requirements Proven experience in front desk or administrative roles within a healthcare setting Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and external providers Knowledge of insurance verification and billing procedures is preferred Basic proficiency in EMR systems and electronic document managementResponsibilities Confirm upcoming patient appointments via text message Collect copays and balances prior to patient visits Verify insurance eligibility and update patient information Scan and file patient documentation, including IDs, insurance cards, and signed paperwork Coordinate transportation services for patients when needed Check-in new and follow-up patients, ensuring all billing and demographic details are accurate Manage post-appointment check-out process, including printing summaries and scheduling follow-ups End-of-day reconciliation of appointment status and financial collections Handle referral management via fax and web output systems Assist with other practice-related tasks and projects as assigned#zr-rep#LI-CH1
