    Job Description

    The School District of Wisconsin Dells is seeking a candidate who is DPI-certified as an ASL Educational Interpreter for the 2026-27 School Year. This individual will facilitate communication between a deaf or hard-of-hearing student and hearing individuals. The individual would work with the student in the classroom, assemblies, meetings, conferences, and other school events. In addition, the ASL interpreter would be responsible for prepping by reviewing materials to become familiar with the content language. Furthermore, the interpreter would collaborate with all individuals to make sure communication preferences are met. The regular hours for this position are 7:40 am-3:30 pm. Wage is negotiable, and optional benefits are available.

    License:

    • Associate's Degree

    • Valid Wisconsin DPI #884 Educational Interpreter License

    • Ability to collaborate effectively with staff and support student needs.
