Job Summary: Assembler 1, General (Contract) - 4th Shift | El Paso, TX

As an Assembler 1, you will play an essential part in safe, efficient assembly, packaging, and labeling of medical products, ensuring strict adherence to industry and company standards. This opportunity offers hands-on experience in a regulated environment, valuable for career growth in medical device manufacturing.
[Responsibilities]
- Assemble, package, and label surgical and vascular medical devices with precision and attention to quality
- Operate manufacturing equipment by following standard work instructions and batch records
- Interpret and execute manufacturing documentation accurately
- Conduct visual inspections to verify product and packaging integrity
- Complete and maintain all required production documentation to meet GMP, GDP, FDA, and ISO standards
- Review batch records for accuracy and completeness
- Consistently meet daily production targets and report relevant performance metrics
- Maintain clean, organized workstations in compliance with 5S and cleanroom protocols
- Report production issues, safety risks, or deviations promptly to supervisors
- Support team by assisting in training new associates and acting as backup in other areas as needed
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for process efficiency and standardization
- Comply with all safety, PPE, and regulatory requirements
[Required Skills and Experience]
- High School Diploma or GED (must be verified)
- Minimum 5 years' manufacturing or assembly experience, preferably in medical device or similar regulated environment
- Strong ability to follow SOPs, work instructions, and quality standards
- Competence in performing inspections and maintaining accurate documentation
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written); Spanish/English bilingual a plus
- Demonstrated teamwork, organization, and cleanliness in work habits
- Ability to consistently adhere to PPE and gowning protocols
[Preferred Skills]
- Experience in cleanroom environments
- Familiarity with 5S and continuous improvement processes
- Bilingual Spanish/English communication
