Overview:
Primarily prepares component level and simple assembly items for shipment. Also responsible for the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Reads work orders, follows production drawings and samples assemblies or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
Assembles bill-of-material items.
Counts product to ensure correct quantity.
Inspects and tests product as required.
Boxes or bags products as required.
Affixes labels to product.
Insures completeness of paperwork.
Forwards completed orders to shipping department.
Discusses errors in diagrams or production order with supervisor or engineer to clarify assembly issues
Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager
Qualification:
Typically requires no previous related experience. Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
Completed High School (Diploma or GED)
Additional Details:
Duration: 12 Months with possibility of extension
Location: Houston, TX 77032
Shift hours: Mon Fri; 7 to 3
