A leading global manufacturer of control and safety solutions is seeking an Assembler to support production and product assembly operations. The ideal candidate is a dependable, detail-oriented individual with experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. This role involves assembling mechanical and basic electrical components, operating simple machinery, and supporting overall production efficiency while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Location: Houston, TX 77064
Type of Position: Temp-to-Hire
Hours: 7am-4pm, M-F; Overtime as needed
Responsibilities: - Assemble industrial products, including mechanical components and basic electrical parts (e.g., cables and connections)
- Perform general assembly using hand tools and standard production equipment
- Assist with product preparation tasks such as painting, coating, and finishing
- Operate basic machinery (push-button operation; no complex setup required)
- Follow detailed work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards at all times
- Conduct basic quality checks to ensure accuracy and product consistency
- Lift, move, and handle materials up to 50 lbs. as needed
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and output goals
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Proactively assist in other areas when primary tasks are complete
Requirements:
- High School degree or equivalent
- Minimum 1-year experience in manufacturing, assembly, or industrial environments preferred
- Comfortable working with larger components and cable assemblies (not small, intricate electronics)
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting and moving materials up to 50 lbs.
- Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to safely use hand tools and standard equipment
- Comfortable operating simple, push-button machinery (no complex setup required)
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude and willingness to support others as needed
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:- Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching
- Occasional stair climbing and continuous movement throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs.
- Work performed in a production environment with varying noise levels
- Possible exposure to fumes from paints, chemicals, and adhesives
