Assembler
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $16.00
This position is responsible for assembling and packaging sterile medical devices and non-sterile medical and commercial products. The Assembler will ensure that all products meet prescribed quality standards through visual and tactical inspection of all in-process products.
- Rotates through all the tasks required to complete the assembly process for sterile medical devices and non-sterile medical and commercial products.
- Communicates with the supervisor to determine daily work assignments.
- Inspects components for defects, and communicates known issues with the supervisor.
- Operates machinery such as pallet wrappers, sonic welders, riveters, heat sealers, etc.
- Operates and/or monitors manual and automated packaging machines. Sorts and inspects packaged products to ensure they meet prescribed quality standards.
- Performs testing of finished products.
- Follows Standard Operating Procedures, and adheres to quality, cleaning, safe work practices, and GMP standards.
- Completes all required paperwork and inputs production data into production software.
- Maintains a clean workspace.
- Performs additional tasks as needed.
