Pay: $16.00

This position is responsible for assembling and packaging sterile medical devices and non-sterile medical and commercial products. The Assembler will ensure that all products meet prescribed quality standards through visual and tactical inspection of all in-process products.

• Rotates through all the tasks required to complete the assembly process for sterile medical devices and non-sterile medical and commercial products.
• Communicates with the supervisor to determine daily work assignments.
• Inspects components for defects, and communicates known issues with the supervisor.
• Operates machinery such as pallet wrappers, sonic welders, riveters, heat sealers, etc.
• Operates and/or monitors manual and automated packaging machines. Sorts and inspects packaged products to ensure they meet prescribed quality standards.
• Performs testing of finished products.
• Follows Standard Operating Procedures, and adheres to quality, cleaning, safe work practices, and GMP standards.
• Completes all required paperwork and inputs production data into production software.
• Maintains a clean workspace.
• Performs additional tasks as needed.
