PAY RATE: $22.27-23.02/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (6 months with potential for extension)

• Shift: First shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Second shift: Monday–Friday, 3:15 PM – 11:45 PM.

Summary: 

• Assembles various components related to aircraft oxygen systems in accordance with work instructions with a strong focus on quality.

• Performs routine set-up of products for assembly operations.

• Performs routine testing of products to verify conformance.

• Follows safety regulations during assembly and testing activities.

• Uses hand tools and measuring devices to perform assembly functions.

• Performs assembly work in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

• Participates in problem solving and continuous improvement activities.

• Learns new processes and supports team activities and other team members.

• Helps and trains other team members on assembly tasks.

• Lifts up to 50 pounds as required for assembly operations.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Ability to read, write, follow instructions, and perform basic math.

• At least 1 year of hands-on manufacturing experience.

• Capable of using hand tools, measuring devices, and other tools needed to perform job functions.

• Ability to perform assembly work in a high-volume environment.

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

• Willingness to participate in problem solving and continuous improvement activities.

• Willingness to learn new things and support team activities and other team members.

• Willingness to help and train other team members.

• Willingness to communicate successfully with team members and other employees as needed.
