Assembler I (On-site)

HEPCO Inc. is seeking a reliable and motivated Assembler for our client to support the production of electronic and mechanical assemblies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a team player who is present, engaged, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for assembling both electronic and mechanical assemblies, directly contributing to the production of innovative technologies. You will perform a variety of tasks, from repetitive production operations to more complex, non-repetitive assembly, utilizing both manual and powered hand tools. A strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement is essential.

• Assemble electronic and mechanical components and assemblies using manual and power tools
• Perform assembly, disassembly, modification, testing, repair, and rework of various products
• Follow work instructions and log daily tasks and time worked in the system
• Support team objectives by working collaboratively with colleagues
• Maintain quality and safety standards throughout all production activities

Required Qualifications

• Ability to follow work instructions and use a computer for task tracking
• Ability to use manual hand tools and power tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Good manual dexterity and ability to stand or sit for extended periods
• Ability to pass a Visual Acuity Standard Test (VAST) or have correctable vision, including color vision
• Willingness to be trained
• High School Diploma, GED, or Trade School education (minimum 2 years required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience applying conformal coating
• Soldering experience with electrical components
• Knowledge of surface mount technology and assembly processes
• Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment

Additional Information
Pay rate is $21.45/hr (includes shift differential)
2nd shift schedule: Monday through Friday, typically 3:30 PM – 1:00 AM
