An established auto welding company in Penn Yan, NY is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Assembly Technicians to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling automotive welded components and sub-assemblies according to quality standards and production schedules. The ideal candidate is hands-on, reliable, and works well in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble welded automotive components and sub-assemblies per work instructions and blueprints
Inspect parts for quality and fit during assembly
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Follow production schedules to meet daily and weekly goals
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve processes
Report any quality or production issues promptly
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous assembly or manufacturing experience a plus
Basic mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
Ability to read and follow work instructions and basic blueprints
Comfortable using hand and power tools
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Reliable with strong work ethic and good attendance
Benefits:
Starting pay at $18.00+ per hour, based on experience
Monday - Friday daytime schedule
