Volt takes great care of our great hiresVolt is immediately hiring for Assembler in Mansfield Ohio 44906.As anAssembler you will Be responsible for assembling fitting and installing mechanical hydraulic pneumatic and electrical components while maintaining strict quality and safety standards in a manufacturing environment. Construct fit and align intricate mechanical components to precise engineering and quality specifications using specialized hand tools torque wrenches and precision measuring equipment. Read interpret and perform assembly operations using mechanical blueprints customer-specific design packets bills of material and custom engineering orders. Interpret hydraulic and pneumatic schematics to measure flare bend and install fluid lines while progressing toward the setup and operation of automated CNC tube-bending equipment. Analyze electrical wiring diagrams and schematics to route conduit runs pull wiring and perform electrical terminations on control panels and actuator sub-assemblies. Safely operate overhead cranes hoists forklifts and rigging equipment to position move and rotate heavy assemblies and materials throughout the production facility. Participate in the site skills training matrix and demonstrate continuous skill development across multiple assembly disciplines. Follow all company safety procedures quality standards and manufacturing best practices.This is a full-timeopportunity.Schedule Training PeriodFirst Month Monday through Friday 600 AM - 230 PM After Training Monday through Friday 1000 PM - 600 AM Overnight ShiftThe ideal candidate will haveRequired Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in mechanical assembly industrial manufacturing automotive repair or heavy equipment production. Proficiency with standard industrial measuring instruments including tape measures calipers and micrometer gauges. Ability to obtain and maintain internal forklift and overhead crane certifications within 90 days of hire. Strong mechanical aptitude attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
