Assembler and Solderer B J-STD
- Business Title: Assembler/Solderer B
- Shift: 1st shift 7:00am - 3:30pm Potential for Overtime
- Department: EPM ECU #9064
- Pay Rate: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
- Temporary Assignment Duration: 3-6 months
- Job Requirements: see below.
- J-STD-001 solder certified is preferred.
- Passing a visual acuity exam is required.
- Ability to identify electronic components (through hole and SMT)
- Basic understanding of mechanical assembly and PCB assembly processes
- Familiarity with manual and automated soldering tools and microscopes
- Ability to follow IPC or J-STD?-001 standards (often required or preferred)
- Ability to read and understand work instructions, drawings, and technical documents
- Attention to detail and precision in repetitive tasks
- Problem-solving ability and good communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Reliable attendance and ability to work with minimal supervision
