Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an Assembly Contractor for a Contract job with a client in Londonderry, NH. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical assembly, component installation, blueprint interpretation, and production manufacturing environments.

Rate Range: $19/hour to $21/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Assembly Contractor Job Responsibilities Include:

• Perform a variety of mechanical assembly operations on parts, components, and subassemblies using established work instructions, engineering drawings, and manufacturing procedures.

• Assemble, install, and secure components utilizing hand tools, torque tools, bonding materials, epoxies, and production equipment while ensuring adherence to quality requirements.

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical specifications, assembly documentation, and manufacturing instructions to complete assigned tasks accurately.

• Perform wiring, component installation, bonding applications, and assembly activities involving small precision parts and assemblies.

• Make equipment setups and adjustments while maintaining required tolerances and specifications defined by engineering documentation.

• Support daily production objectives by following established processes, maintaining quality standards, and communicating issues to supervisors when necessary.

Desired Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

• Zero to three years of experience in assembly, manufacturing, production, fabrication, or related technical environments.

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.

• Experience using hand tools, torque tools, assembly equipment, and measuring instruments commonly used in production environments.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks accurately and consistently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with epoxies, bonding materials, adhesives, and mechanical assembly processes.

• Familiarity with blueprint reading, tolerance requirements, and manufacturing quality standards.

• Experience assembling small precision components within electronics, aerospace, defense, medical device, or industrial manufacturing environments.

• Knowledge of safe manufacturing practices, production procedures, and quality inspection requirements.

• Ability to identify assembly issues and escalate concerns appropriately to support product quality and operational efficiency.

Pay Details: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour
