Assembly Fitter Level 2 Day Shift

General Summary

 In this intermediate level role, the pipefitter will assemble and repair pipe systems of various shapes, sizes, and pressures. Ensure proper placement and alignment according to drawings and instructions.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Must have general knowledge of all aspects of the Process Install Department.
  • Reads and understands isometric drawings.
  • Bridge tacks in GTAW on carbon and stainless.
  • Hang Pipe
  • Cut, Grind, Fit-up pipe.
  • Torque down bottles.
  • Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules.
  • EE must align with EFX visions and values.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED or 1-year technical diploma/vocational certificate desired.
  • Minimum of 1 –3 years of relevant industrial experience required.
  • Must have general knowledge of pipe ISO’s.
  • General knowledge on P&ID and General Arrangement Drawings.
  • Demonstrates knowledge on the pipe fitting processes for industrial piping.
  • Requires some oversight but demonstrates some competence on degrees and more complex fit-ups.
  • Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Works under general supervision.

Working Conditions:

 Industrial environment. This role will require a large amount of standing, bending, squatting, lifting, and walking on a constant basis. May be required to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs. Many tasks have high degrees of time sensitivity.
