Assembly/Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Job Description:

We are currently seeking candidates for a 2nd Shift Machine C Operator in the Manufacturing Department. The hours for this position will be 7:00am - 3:00pm, Monday – Friday.

The Machine C Operator is our entry-level manufacturing position responsible for the following:

• Assists the lead operators on production line equipment efficiently while maintaining Environmental, Health, Safety, Quality, and Production standards.
• Promotes and follows all EHS and Quality guidelines and procedures.
• Performs minor set-ups, cleaning and general operation of various filling and packaging machines.
• Ability to accurately account for production quantity, process scrap, production time, and traceability practices by filling out a daily production log.
• Recommends safety improvements as needed
• Ensures all housekeeping and equipment standards are met.
• Assists in training temporary workers to pick/place/pack/palletize.
• Able to conduct basic operation of cardboard baler, plastic baler, compactor, carton erector, pallet jack, and taper/tape gun.
• Provides support and assistance to other line teams as needed.

Compensation Information:

$18.70 - $21.00, based upon experience. Additional $0.50 shift premium for working 2nd Shift.
