Why join us?Career advancement: Opportunity for an experienced supervisor or emerging leader to take ownership of an operation and develop toward broader operations leadership.

Autonomy and ownership: Have a voice in how the operation runs and the improvements being made.
Leadership support: Work closely with an experienced Operations Manager while developing your own leadership capabilities.
Job DetailsWe are seeking a hands-on Assembly & Operations Supervisor / Manager to oversee daily activities within a specialized industrial assembly and distribution facility.

You will oversee a small team responsible for assembly, inventory, shipping, receiving, and customer order fulfillment. Just as importantly, you will help improve processes, introduce greater structure, and support the organization's continued growth.
We are not looking for someone who wants to sit in an office and simply delegate. We want a leader who is comfortable working alongside the team, learning the products, solving problems, and jumping in wherever needed.

- Lead, coach, train, and develop a small team of employees.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, inventory, and production schedules to meet customer expectations.
- Ensure customer orders are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
- Support inventory management, stocking levels, and material availability.
- Learn the products and assembly processes so you can effectively support your team.
- Help develop standard operating procedures and improve day-to-day workflows.
- Support the continued adoption and optimization of ERP systems and technology.
- Identify opportunities to reduce errors, improve productivity, and create operational efficiencies.
- Coordinate returns, repairs, replacements, and other reverse logistics activities.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Product Management, Accounting, and Operations leadership.
- Help develop employee skills, cross-training programs, and operational capabilities to support future growth.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in manufacturing, assembly, industrial distribution, warehouse operations, or a similar hands-on environment.
- Previous supervisory, team leadership, or management experience, including demonstrated responsibility for coordinating employees and daily workflow.
- Strong understanding of how inventory, production, shipping, receiving, and customer fulfillment work together.
- Willingness to learn technical products and work alongside employees when needed.
- Comfortable using business systems, inventory platforms, or ERP software.
- Experience helping improve processes, introduce new procedures, or support operational changes.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and people skills.
- A desire to continue growing into larger operations leadership responsibilities.
Additional Experience We'd Love to See:
- Hydraulic, pneumatic, fluid power, hose assembly, or industrial component experience.
- Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems.
- Exposure to system implementations or transitions from manual processes.
- Experience supporting operational growth, acquisitions, or organizational change.
- Technical training, certifications, or a related degree.
Compensation:
- Base salary: $85,000–$100,000
- 5% annual bonus opportunity
- Full-time, onsite in Plymouth, Minnesota
- Opportunity for continued professional growth and leadership development
