Assembly Specialist (Bilingual Korean)

Vector Talent Solutions is a veteran-owned workforce solutions firm dedicated to helping organizations identify, attract, and hire top talent. We are currently seeking a Bilingual (Korean) Assembly Specialist for a client within the Automotive Manufacturing industry.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Bilingual (Korean) Assembly Specialist to support manufacturing operations in a fast-paced automotive production environment. This role focuses on improving assembly processes, supporting quality and production initiatives, troubleshooting equipment and process issues, and serving as a key liaison between Korean and English-speaking stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, analytical, and passionate about driving continuous improvement while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and resolve production, equipment, and process-related issues within the assembly department.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
• Coordinate and lead assigned projects, including equipment upgrades, process improvements, and capital investments.
• Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and cross-functional teams to improve tooling, automation, and manufacturing processes.
• Develop and implement corrective actions for quality concerns, equipment failures, and production bottlenecks.
• Train team members on new processes, procedures, and best practices.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and KPI updates for management regarding operational performance and project progress.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual in Korean and English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, automotive, or related industrial environments.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, machining, assembly operations, and quality systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience with machine components including hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, PLCs, automation systems, and tooling.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and ERP systems such as SAP.

Compensation:

$60,000 - $65,000 annually (depending on experience, qualifications, and overall fit)
