The individual in this position shall work with ManufacturingProcess engineers. Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations including working with engineers in set-up as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts components subassemblies and final assemblies. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.ResponsibilitiesAssemblingPackaging productsFilling out paperwork for related assemblies and production activityCommunicating discrepancies or potential issues as neededAs necessary performs other duties as requiredStrong understanding of measuring devices prints and quality control documents specifications and requirements.Strong operation of mechanical electrical and optical tools and equipment for quality inspection.May assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments.Ensures high quality standards associated with assembly production to manufacture superior medical product assemblies.Work from schematics diagrams written and verbal descriptions layouts or defined plans to perform testing checkout and trouble-shooting functions.Uses programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products instruments or equipment.Perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment or manufacturing process - basic trouble-shooting. Assist in the design construction test and check-out of test equipment.Strong understanding of reports procedures - keeps excellent records and documentation of activities.Minimum QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent5-7 years experience in a related field is requiredAbility to perform basic mathematical calculationsMicroscope ExperienceBroadly cross trainedAbility to follow GMPs Good Manufacturing Practice using Standard Operating ProceduresMaintains records and clean room environment to comply with regulatory requirementsUse various measurement devices to record data and produce assemblies to written specificationsMaintain inventory accuracy by performing daily counts in area of responsibilityManual dexterity eye hand coordination and visual acuityAbility to read write and understand EnglishAbility to perform repetitive work while paying attention to detailMaintain product traceability and identificationIdentify and segregate Non-Conforming ProductAbility to train othernew associatesEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workersTroubleshooting Skills Supports high level tech or engineer on troubleshooting equipment.Hardware Knowledge Knows how to use DVM temp meter.
