Assembly Technician

Fives Group is looking for an Assembly Technician 

What You Will Be Doing:

• Install, maintain and repair electro-mechanical, electrical, and electronic components on a variety of manufacturing equipment and conveying systems

Job Description:

• Install and debug mechanical installation of conveying system apparatus (Pneumatic, hydraulic systems)
• Install, repair and replace defective parts in conveyors, generators, motors, controllers, switchboards, switches, conductors and other electrical devices
• Wiring motor power controls equipment circuits, reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematics
• Testing wire connections with test equipment using multi-meters and oscilloscope
• Assemble junction boxes, back plates and harnesses per print

Qualifications:

• Experience in the debug of input/outputs of electrical system
• Knowledge of mechanical drawings (bluepirints) and practices, electrical diagrams, schematics and practices, pneumatics, hydrualics and general assembly procedures is beneficial.
• A minimum of basic hand tools required.
• A positive attitude with technical aptitude or background is required

Education:

• Associate Technical Degree or experience in an automation/manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
