Assembly Technician 

Location: Saint Paul, MN
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Shift: 1st Shift

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling medical devices, performing quality inspections, maintaining production documentation, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble medical devices using small components and hand tools
• Perform routine quality inspections throughout the production process
• Complete production records and build documentation accurately
• Build and package products for evaluation, validation, and manufacturing
• Verify calibration status of equipment before use
• Perform line clearance activities before starting new build lots
• Follow operating procedures, process packets, and GMP requirements
• Identify and segregate non-conforming materials and notify Engineering as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area
• Report equipment issues or concerns to leadership promptly
• Assist with training and onboarding of new Assemblers

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 6 months of medical device assembly experience
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Basic math skills
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment while wearing required gowning and PPE
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Team-oriented mindset and reliable work history
