    Overview

    Our recent acquisition by Snap-on, Inc., a leading global innovator, manufacturer, and marketer of tools, equipment, diagnostics, repair information, and systems solutions provides us with even greater opportunities to realize our vision.

    The Assembly Technician will be responsible for performing mechanical assembly, calibration, and packaging of production items at our San Jose, CA Headquarters.

    Responsibilities

    • Performs mechanical assembly on production items.
    • Assists in material and packaging processing.
    • Assists in the calibration of all Mountz products.
    • Conducts all tasks/responsibilities keeping always in mind the Manufacturing Department objectives and the continual improvement of Mountz's Quality Management System.
    • Supports and participates in the company's health and safety program.
    • Performs other duties and responsibilities as needed.

    • Complex Mechanical Assembly
    • Simple Electronic Assembly:
    RoHS-Compliant Assembly Experience

    Handling and/or Inspection of PCBAs

    Through-hole Hand Soldering

    Hand-Soldering Wires Experience

    Cutting, Stripping, & Crimping Wires
    • Pre-set hand-tool calibration
    • Hand-tool QC
    • Firmware Download into PCB

    Prerequisites:
    • J-STD-001 Familiarity and/or Certification
    • IPC-A-610 Familiarity and/or Certification
    • IPC/WHMA-A-620 Familiarity and/or Certification
