Calvary is seeking Assistant Cheer Coaches with experience in cheer and/or dance at a competitive level in high school, college, or club with at least two years of teaching experience. Must have the ability to choreograph cheers and dances while demonstrating technique and performance quality. Scope: Coaches are responsible for overseeing and directing student-athletes related to practices, games, and community events for their sport. This includes athlete assignments, uniform inventory, coaching athletic techniques appropriate to ability, communication with parents, scheduling, team discipline and mentoring of students. 1 Peter 5:2-3 – Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly; nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.
