Description Specialization: Emergency Medicine Job Summary: HCA FL Northwest Hospital is seeking a FT Assistant Chief, Emergency Medicine Physician to become part of our prestigious practice in Margate, FL (Ft Lauderdale suburb). Description of ED: consists of 55 beds Approx. 60K annual visits 50 hours of physician coverage 12 hours of Advanced Practice Providers Approximately 2.2 patients per hour GME accredited EM Residency, since 2022 Admission rate approximately 35% EMR: Meditech and Pdoc 24 hour in house hospitalists 24 hour in house intensivists No floor code or consult responsibilities Interventional cardiac catheterization facility Incentives: Independent Contractor (1099) site Occurrence Based Malpractice covered 100% Qualified candidates: Must be ABEM or AOBEM Board Certified or Eligible.
