Performance Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with head coach to plans and implement organized daily practice plansSuggest adaptations and modifications to coaching techniques, strategies and game plans.Demonstrate an understanding of safety considerations for athletes.Work cooperatively with other coaches, athletic director, trainer, and building administration.Promote and maintain positive public relations with parents and the community.Help provide an atmosphere conducive to good sportsmanship and player conduct.Comply with all HAC, DIAA, and school district policies.Help maintain inventories of all equipment and uniforms.Assist in recommending purchase of equipment, supplies, and uniforms.Support in preparation for each game in strategy and player motivation.Assists in overseeing the safety of the facility or area in which assigned sport is conducted.Aid in communication of pre, post and in season information to players, parents, and school officials.Perform other duties as assigned that relate to this position. Terms of Employment: 1 Season Salary and Benefits: Salary per the Sussex Technical School District and collective bargaining agreement.
