Assistant Controller
As the Assistant Controller, you will report into the senior finance leadership team and play a critical role partnering with operations to enhance project performance and financial control.
- Partner closely with project teams to deliver accurate project-level financial reporting
- Manage job cost tracking, work-in-progress reporting, and revenue recognition
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and profitability analysis across live projects
- Prepare and maintain schedules of contracts, billings, and accruals
- Lead cost and revenue review processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Support internal and external audit processes, including interaction with third-party auditors
- Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes, controls, and systems

For the Assistant Controller role, we are seeking:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Must have 2-4 years of audit experience within a Big 4, Top 10, or leading regional firm
- Prior exposure to construction, infrastructure, or project-based environments is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of job cost accounting and percentage of completion methods
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to engage operational stakeholders
- Experience with construction ERP systems (e.g. Vista, Procore, or similar) is advantageous
- CPA qualification or progression towards certification is a plus
- Ambition to progress into Controller and beyond within a structured succession plan
