Target Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 Base Salary

Key Responsibilities for the Assistant Controller:

• 
  
• Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, and depreciation management.
• 
  
• Manage monthly Sales & Use Tax filings across Wisconsin and Illinois.
• 
  
• Oversee accounting processes across multiple billing systems and ensure accurate reporting within NetSuite.
• 
  
• Review biweekly payroll for accuracy, including pay code validation and payroll-related controls through ADP.
• 
  
• Serve as the subject matter expert for FileBound and support AP workflow optimization.
• 
  
• Coordinate financial and 401(k) audit requests, acting as the primary liaison with external auditors.
• 
  

Qualifications for the Assistant Controller:

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 
  
• Strong accounting foundation with experience in month-end close, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting.
• 
  
• Experience working within an ERP system, preferably NetSuite.
• 
  
• Proven problem-solving abilities and a process-improvement mindset.
• 
  
• Healthcare industry experience is helpful but not required.
•
