    Description

    Position: Assistant Controller

    Location: Tulsa, OK  ONSITE

    Comp: up to $135K

    SBCS has partnered with a growing international manufacturing company looking to add a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The Assistant Controller will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day financial operations of the company.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

    - Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance

    - Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and other financial reports

    - Monitor and analyze budget vs. actual results

    - Assist with the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures

    - Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

    - Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors

    - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting

    - Assist with special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as needed

    Qualifications:

    - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

    - CPA designation is preferred

    - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role

    - Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting

    - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

    - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

    - Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    - Strong attention to detail and accuracy

    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    - Experience in a consulting or professional services environment is a plus
