POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES Under the direction of the Senior Director, the Assistant Director is responsible for department fiscal operations, financial/productivity monitoring and reporting. Provides guidance to management on fiscal reporting requirements and budget planning methodology. Works with all department leadership on a monthly basis to review grant budget and develop operational budgets. This position is responsible for fiscal components related to Ryan White Part A, B, D, HOPWA, Ending the Epidemic, and related HIV services federal funding from Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Texas Department of State and Health Services (DSHS), and other HIV grant programs. Promotes the University Health vision of Triple Aim PLUS and assures all projects are executed within the expectations of internal and external stakeholders. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in business, public administration, public health, social work or related field is required. A Masters Degree in one of these or related fields is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in grants. Must have a working knowledge of resource analysis, budgets, reporting requirements, grants solicitation and management, presentation skills, and knowledge and experience in working with government organizations.
