Assistant General Manager – Urban Air Gilroy

Job Summary

Urban Air Gilroy is looking for an energetic, welcoming, and hands-on Assistant General Manager to help lead our park team and create amazing experiences for kids, families, and guests.

This is a fun, active leadership role for someone who loves people, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and brings positive energy every day. Our park is a large 64,000 sq. ft. adventure facility, so this is not a desk-only role. The AGM should be comfortable being on the floor, walking the park, supporting the team, and jumping in wherever needed.

The AGM will work closely with the General Manager to support daily operations, team members, guest service, birthday parties, café, attractions, safety, cleanliness, and overall park execution.

We are looking for someone who makes people feel welcome, keeps the team moving, leads from the floor, and helps create a place where guests have fun and team members feel like they belong.

What You’ll Do

As Assistant General Manager, you will help lead the park during daily operations, support and coach team members, assist with scheduling and training, and make sure the park is clean, safe, staffed, and guest-ready.

You will be visible throughout the park — greeting guests, supporting birthday parties, checking on attractions, helping the café team, walking the floor, and keeping the energy positive during busy times.

Most importantly, you will help build a strong team culture where people feel supported, appreciated, and excited to come to work.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is upbeat, dependable, guest-friendly, and comfortable leading a team in a busy, active environment.

The right person stays positive under pressure, jumps in, stays on their feet, works well with kids and families, and is excited to help create a fun place for guests and team members.

Experience in family entertainment, restaurants, retail, hospitality, theme parks, hotels, or other guest-service environments is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory or management experience preferred
• Strong communication and people skills
• Positive attitude and guest-first mindset
• Comfortable leading and supporting hourly team members
• Comfortable walking, standing, and being active throughout a large park
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to pass required background checks
