Shirley s Bistro is seeking an Assistant General Manager and FOH Manager to support the General Manager and lead front-of-house operations. We are looking for a hands-on leader who creates a welcoming guest experience and keeps service organized.
Lead daily front-of-house service and assist the General Manager with restaurant operations.
Train and coach servers, baristas, and food runners; coordinate schedules and shift assignments.
Manage opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and point-of-sale accuracy.
Resolve guest concerns calmly and support consistent hospitality standards.
Coordinate with the Kitchen Manager on timing, menu availability, and special requests.
Monitor front-of-house labor, supplies, and service performance.
Support hiring, onboarding, and staff accountability; report operational needs to the General Manager.
Restaurant management or supervisory experience, preferably in front-of-house operations.
Strong guest service, team leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with scheduling, cash handling, and point-of-sale systems.
Dependable, respectful communication and sound judgment during busy service.
Availability for weekdays and weekends; willingness to complete required training.
