Assistant Laboratory Director Job Details: 

• Full-time, Temporary-to-Permanent employment opportunity
  
• Initial travel duration: 13-weeks
  
• Great laboratory leadership and administration team! 
  
• Assistant Laboratory Director collaborates with the Director to plan, organize, and oversee Laboratory Services operations while ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations
  
• Monitors Point-of-Care (POC) testing activities, prepares compliance reports, and provides follow-up and support to nursing departments to ensure adherence to established standards and requirements
  
• Develops and maintains staff schedules and adjusts staffing assignments as needed to meet workload demands and operational needs
  
• Assists with departmental in-service education, staff training, and ongoing professional development initiatives
  

Assistant Laboratory Director Qualifications: 

• Must have a bachelor’s degree at minimum  
  
• Must have ASCP, AMT, AAB certification 
  
• Expertise is all clinical areas with supervisor licensures (Microbiology, Serology/Immunology, Clinical Chemistry, Hematology and Immunohematology)  
  
• Must have at least 1 year of laboratory leadership experience
