Assistant Maintenance Technician - Property Management

Schedule: Monday through friday

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable Assistant Maintenance Technician to support daily maintenance operations across our residential community. This role assists the lead maintenance team in ensuring the property remains safe, clean, and well‑maintained.

Responsibilities

• Assist with completing maintenance work orders
• Support basic repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliances
• Help with unit turns, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs
• Perform routine property inspections and report issues
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
• Provide support during emergency maintenance situations

Requirements

• Previous maintenance or make‑ready experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of general repairs and building systems
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various conditions
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to learn and follow direction
