Assistant Maintenance Technician - Property Management
Location: Rocklin, CA 95765
Schedule: Monday through friday
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable Assistant Maintenance Technician to support daily maintenance operations across our residential community. This role assists the lead maintenance team in ensuring the property remains safe, clean, and well‑maintained.
Responsibilities
- Assist with completing maintenance work orders
- Support basic repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliances
- Help with unit turns, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs
- Perform routine property inspections and report issues
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
- Provide support during emergency maintenance situations
Requirements
- Previous maintenance or make‑ready experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of general repairs and building systems
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various conditions
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to learn and follow direction
