Position Details

• Role: Assistant Maintenance Technician
• Location: Sanger, TX 76266
• Pay: $23/hr
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
• Start Date: ASAP
• Opportunity Type: Contract-to-Hire
• Client Preference: Candidate interested in a long-term opportunity

Responsibilities

• Assist with vacancy walks and unit inspections
• Support the maintenance team with small work orders and daily maintenance tasks
• Document model and serial numbers in newly constructed buildings
• Assist with preventative maintenance projects
• Help maintain community grounds, common areas, and amenities
• Support apartment turns and make-ready activities as needed
• Ensure assigned tasks are completed accurately and efficiently
• Work closely with the maintenance team to support overall property operations

Requirements

• Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Comfortable performing physical tasks and walking the property throughout the day
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Certifications

• CPO (Certified Pool Operator) Preferred
• HVAC Certification Preferred
• Certifications are a plus but not required
