Assistant Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Assistant Manager to join our team at our small fast casual restaurant in Northport. The Assistant Manager will play a key role in supporting the overall operations of the company. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about leadership, customer service, and driving business success.

Duties:

• Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring exceptional customer service standards are met
  
• Support in managing and motivating a team of employees
  
• Responsible for training new staff members
  
• Responsible for social media marketing
  
• Help troubleshoot technical difficulties with POS
  
• Cash handling
  
• Effectively communicate to customer to resolve conflicts
  
• Must be able to lift up to 25lbs
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a food service environment
  
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  
• Excellent communication and organization
  
• Knowledge of inventory control practices
  
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in sales or marketing
  
• Proficient in Toast POS
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  
• Experience in Google Docs
  
• Barista Experience
  

Hours:

• 28 - 38 hours per week
  
• 3 - 4 days 10:30 am - 8 pm (We are open 6 days per week, Closed Sunday)
  
• Schedule will vary
